The call that started it all
This is where Stefan Slob comes in. His phone rings: “Can you get to Copenhagen today?” A shipment of Simply Red tour merchandise needed to reach the Royal Arena in Copenhagen that same day, and every regular transport option had already run out of time. For most carriers, that’s where the shipment would stall. For us, it’s where the work actually starts.

From shipment to boarding pass
Stefan didn’t book another carrier or wait for the next available slot. He got on a plane with the boxes himself and got the merchandise to the venue at 5:00 PM, just in time for the show. Sometimes logistics is a spreadsheet. This time it was a boarding pass.
We asked Stefan how that felt:
What did you think when you got the request?
“When someone asks if I can get there today, the answer is always yes. Before my colleague has even mentioned the destination, I’m already reaching for my passport. A challenge like this is exactly what makes the job so much fun.”
Would you do it again tomorrow?
“Without a doubt. It doesn’t matter where I’d need to go or what’s in the boxes. I just like being part of solving the puzzle. And when it all comes together, you can really feel how much the customer appreciates it.”
What does a story like this actually say about us?
It’s not really about getting on a plane. It’s about what happens when the usual options run out. We stay calm, look at what’s possible and keep moving until we find a solution that works.
